Zahabu, Nairobi

As Assistant Venue Manager and Head of Programming, I oversee the space’s programming and contribute to its wider venue operations, curating and coordinating music, cultural and creative events while working with artists, collectives and collaborators to develop Zahabu’s identity as a dynamic third space for Nairobi’s creative community.

Zahabu Culture Garden, established in 2026, is a community-driven cultural space where music, food, skate, broadcast and creative practice intersect. Emerging from the creative community at The Mall, it provides a platform for experimentation, collaboration and cultural exchange, fostering individual expression alongside intercultural and intergenerational dialogue through the arts.
